You can join The Church
of America as an individual or as a group.
Individual Discipleship
The steps for individuals
(age 12 and over) to become disciples of
the Church are as follows:

You must convert to American Christianity
-
To convert, you must hear the
Gospel
-
Renounce any and all prior religious
faiths and gods
-
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord
and Savior
-
Declare your acceptance of Jesus
with your voice
-
Be baptized by immersion in living
water
-
Complete your CofA Discipleship Packet
-
Complete a CofA sponsored course
in Bible study
-
Commit to keeping the Ten Commandments
and the Commandments of Christ in your
life. (including Saturday rest)

Commit to helping the Church spread
the Gospel through your prayers, time,
tithes, labor, and participation in
worship services and leadership if possible.

Inform your prior church's pastor
(if any) that you have changed churches.

Commit to honor your parishes
rules of dress and conduct when attending
services or activities in church.
Family and Group Discipleship
Families and Groups join the church using the
same method as individuals as shown above.
Churches
Churches may join using either the above method
or if they do not wish to join with the Church
but only be in communion with The Church of
America, they may join the American Communion
as a church.
